Fioli Garden

I heard about Fioli from a friend who planned her wedding and was attracted by its beauty. I have thought about visiting it one day and didn’t get a chance. To experience more new things this year, and to take grandparents to more new place, we finally got to go today.

The name is from the former owner William Bowers Bourn II’s life credo’s “Fight for a just cause; Love your fellow man; Live a good life.” So it is pronounced as “F I (in fight) - o - li”

When I visited the site, I was moved by the stories of how William and Agnes Bourn envisioned and had it built and how the Roth family maintained and donated it at the end.

We signed up for the membership at the end as I would like to come back to visit when it is spring and summer. I am sure each season brings different feeling in such an amazing garden.
