Just Breathe

I came across the book of Just Breathe - Mastering BreathWork for Success in Life, Love, Business, and Beyond by Dan Brulé (forward by Tony Robbins) after I had my breast cancer diagonsed. It really helps me to be more in control of my mind, my anxiety level, and my physical health. I was still reviewing and using the techniques in the book and would recommend checking it out.

Optimize the health

After reading the book, I realized I was a shallow breather - buy following the guide and different techniques, I found my favorite one to make me aware of my breath and connect with my body. I also use some breathing techniques to prep for the surgery and the recovery, which helps to deal with the acute pain.

Calm the mind

Many times when considering different treatments for breast cancer, anxiety will emerge. But no matter whether that is the high-stress, critical situations like dealing with cancer or everyday life challenges, the book showed me how to harness conscious breathing, which helps me to calm my mind.

Spark peak performance

Many examples in the book have shed lights on how breathing can help performances. I am incorporating it in my daily work and feel it really can help with efficiency and productivity.
